Mid of February Hackaday featured quite a bunch of Valentine’s Day hacks. I thought I should give this a try as well. Of course Hackaday featured quite a lot of these hacks after the day. Here is my take on it. Notice that I post my Valentine’s day hack well in advance of Valentine’s day. So if you want to copy this you still have more than 11 months left 😉

My heartbeat experiment gives all the implementation details. However I would not recommend to use an Arduino + Blinkenlight shield as a present. Instead I would clearly opt for a dedicated heart shaped custom etched board.
